The exhibition Lonely Living. The architecture of the primary space took place within the 8th Venice Architecture Biennale.
Eighteen Italian architects were asked to carry out a choral project, a high-density village. Once appointed a hypothetical client, each architect, designed a space of approximately 16 square meters. The program addressed two existential issues on the spirit of metropolitan life we live daily: on the one hand, the theme of the emergency and the temporary nature of those who, homeless, are looking for a minimum refuge; on the other, the theme of psychological isolation and loneliness.

Thus was born a project, different from all the others, in a 1:1 scale where are not exhibited architectures built or to be built elsewhere, because the project is itself an architecture.
The material of each of the 18 projects was, democratically, the same for all: chipboard panels.
